Project: Under Gardiner / Awareness Campaign
It took a remarkable collective effort to re-imagine Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway as a dynamic urban space with infinite possibilities for the people of Toronto.
Design Holmen teamed up with communications firm Bespoke and a crew of creative specialists in film, digital media and public relations to conceive and launch this multi-faceted, fun and memorable campaign. Following the initial public launch, Project: Under Gardiner was renamed The Bentway. The success of the project led to Design Holmen creating the permanent brand and wayfinding for this extraordinary public space.
