LC3 / Brand Identity
The Atmospheric Fund needed a new brand identity for a network of climate innovation hubs across the country called Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3). This network would be unique in the world and would elevate Canada’s status on the international stage in the fight against climate change. We created a new brand and brand story for the proposal to argue for the creation of LC3; we wanted the decision-makers to engage rationally with the idea and emotionally commit to its possibilities and potential. Our approach proved successful: LC3 was allocated $183-million in the 2019 budget to create an endowment for centres across the country.
